Terms of service

These terms are the agreement between you and Lava Socials Limited ("we", "us"), trading as Carousel Builder, for using carouselbuilder.co.uk. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. Please also read our privacy policy.

1. Who it is for

Carousel Builder is a tool for businesses. You must be at least 18 and use it for your business or one you are authorised to act for. Because it is sold to businesses, consumer protection rules that apply to shoppers do not apply.

2. What Carousel Builder does

It helps you create social media carousels and captions for your business, save them, and post or schedule them to the Facebook Pages, Instagram accounts and LinkedIn profiles you connect. The words and designs are produced with the help of AI from the details and photos you give it.

3. Your account

Keep your login details safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away at contact@lavasocials.com if you think someone else has used it.

4. The free carousel

You can make one carousel free, with a limited number of rewrites, to try the service. After that, making more carousels needs a Pro subscription. We may limit free use from the same device or network.

5. Pro subscription and payment

• Pro costs £99 plus VAT a month. New subscribers get 50% off their first month. The price shown when you subscribe is the price you pay.
• Payment is taken in advance by Stripe when you subscribe and then on the same date each month. A VAT invoice is emailed each month and is also in your Invoices area.
• You can cancel at any time from Invoices, Manage billing. Pro carries on until the end of the month you have paid for and then stops. We do not refund part months.
• If a payment fails, Stripe will try again and email you. If it still cannot be taken, Pro features stop until it is paid.
• We may change the price with at least 30 days' notice by email. The new price applies from your next payment after the notice ends, and you can cancel before then.

6. Your content

Your photos, logo, business details, carousels and captions belong to you. You give us permission to store, process and adapt them only to provide the service to you, including sending them to our AI provider and to the platforms you post to.

You confirm you have the right to use every photo, logo and piece of text you upload, and that your content does not break the law or anyone else's rights.

7. AI written words

AI can get things wrong. Check every carousel and caption before you post it, especially prices, offers, claims and anything regulated in your industry. You are responsible for what you publish.

8. Posting to your social accounts

• We only post what you choose, to the accounts you tick, at the time you set or when you press Post now.
• Your use of Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn is also governed by their own terms. Your posts must follow them.
• The platforms control their systems. They can reject a post, change what they allow, or withdraw access. When a post fails we show you why where the platform tells us, but we cannot guarantee that every post goes out at the exact time set.
• Some formats are not accepted everywhere. For example, Instagram does not accept 9:16 carousels.

9. Fair use

Do not use Carousel Builder to create anything unlawful, misleading, hateful or infringing, to send spam, to post to accounts you are not authorised to manage, or to try to break, overload, copy or resell the service. We may suspend or close an account that does.

10. The service

We work to keep Carousel Builder running and improving, and we may change features over time. We may pause it briefly for maintenance. We keep your saved carousels, but please keep your own copy of anything important.

11. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Otherwise, we are not liable for loss of profits, sales, business, goodwill or data, or for any indirect loss. Our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the amount you paid us in those 12 months.

12. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Carousel Builder and ask us to delete your account at any time (see Data deletion). We can end it with 30 days' notice, or straight away if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
