Deleting your data

You can remove Carousel Builder's access to your social accounts, or have everything we hold about you deleted, at any time.

Disconnect a Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn account

  1. Log in and open My carousels.
  2. Go to the Accounts tab.
  3. Press Disconnect next to the account.

This deletes that account's access keys from our systems straight away. Posts scheduled to that account will not go out.

From Facebook or Instagram instead

In Facebook, open Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations. Find Carousel Builder and press Remove. On Instagram, the same list is under Settings, Website permissions, Apps and websites. Once removed, the keys we hold stop working and we delete them.

From LinkedIn instead

In LinkedIn, open Settings, then Data privacy, then Permitted services. Find Carousel Builder and press Remove.

Delete everything

Email contact@lavasocials.com from the address you signed up with and ask us to delete your data. If you pay for Pro, cancel it first under Invoices, Manage billing.

What we delete within 30 days: your account and login, business details, logo and photos, every carousel and caption, scheduled posts and their results, and all connected social accounts and their keys.

What we have to keep: invoices and payment records, for six years, because UK tax law requires it.

Posts already published to your social accounts stay there, because they belong to you on that platform. Delete them from the platform if you want them gone.
